Bee Creative Studio has become well known for pictorial appliqué quilt patterns in addition to other designs which often put a spin on the traditional. I have been fortunate to work with quilt shops in all 50 states, Canada, and a growing number of shops overseas. So chances are, wherever you go you'll see one of my designs.
 
Most days are spent working in the studio creating new quilts, patterns or designing a new collection of fabric. If I'm not at the drafting table or sewing machine then I am probably at the computer answering emails or writing quilt instructions. In addition to my daily Bee Creative responsibilities, I also try and find time to create mixed media artwork. In 2004 I won the Fairfield Master Award for Contemporary Artistry at the International Quilt Show in Houston, TX. To see some of my mixed media art go to www.nancymurty.com.
 
In addition to quilt patterns, I design for Andover Fabrics of NYC. Andover has been a great partner, allowing me to create fabric collections that reflect my artistic spirit. Andover's commitment to providing the highest fabric quality has made the partnership a success. Another successful venture with Andover is our block of the month program called the Honey Bee Club. Each year I create a custom quilt design along with a coordinating collection of fabric.
 
The studio is also shared with my two cats, Simon and Alex who have even starred in a couple of my quilt designs.
